Imbibe to your heart’s content at the dozens of bars in Midtown Nashville

Midtown Nashville is within easy walking distance to some of the best bars and watering holes that Nashville has to offer.

After a long day at work, relax and unwind with a few adult beverages at these establishments just a few blocks outside your door. You’ll never have a dull night when you’re living at our pet-friendly apartments in Midtown Nashville.

The End

If you like small, rock-and-roll dive bars – you’ve found your new favorite local spot. Bands like The Flaming Lips, The White Stripes, Mastadon, Sleigh Bells, and more have graced their stage and they have no signs of stopping. It’s the perfect place to catch a rowdy show while enjoying some cold beer with some fun people.

The Local

Walk on over to the opposite side of Centennial Park and you’ll reach The Local. Here’s a “hometown” bar that is cozy, has lots of craft beer, a great happy hour, and live music. Chow down on some great, elevated pub food like burgers and nachos, sip on a mojito and catch a live music show any night of the week. “Come a stranger…leave a local!” is what they say.

Broadway Brewhouse

Do you like beer? What about southern food? Then you’ll be happy to know that your beer-filled, NOLA-inspired brewhouse is in Midtown Nashville. Wings, gumbo, and crawfish etouffee are just a few items you can enjoy while throwing back one of their dozens of beers on tap at Broadway Brewhouse. Check their website daily for awesome happy hour specials like 2-for-1 local beers and 2-for-1 bloody mary’s on Saturdays.

Losers Bar & Grill

‘No-frills dive bar and music venue’ is how Losers Bar & Grill describes themselves. Losers is cooking up classic bar fare with a Southern twist, such as smoked tuna dip, fried chicken sliders, and, of course, Nashville hot chicken. Cool off those taste buds with a draft beer or a cocktail from their full bar. Losers has been known to have a few celebrity patrons from time to time, claiming “You never know who you might run into…”

Kung Fu Saloon

With locations in Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth, Kung Fu Saloon also has a Nashville location. Kung Fu Saloon boasts a giant draft selection, yummy cocktails, and delicious sake bombs (aren’t you glad you’re walking home?!). After you’ve snacked on their Cap’n Crunch Fried Pickles or hot wings, sing your heart out with your closest friends in one of their private karaoke rooms. You’ll also find lots of vintage arcade games, skee ball, giant Jenga, and so much more. Feel free to hang out late-night until the bar closes at 3 am.

Hurry Back

Hurry Back offers an ever-changing extensive draft wall with beers, ciders, and more from the nation’s top craft brewers. You’ll find a simple menu with sandwiches and tacos where the price is right and rotating daily specials. Be sure to join in for Family Feud-style trivia on Thursdays at 7 pm. It’ll be hard to venture out farther than this awesome establishment.

The Patterson House

The Patterson House is Nashville’s first craft cocktail bar and it’s less than a mile away from our Midtown Nashville apartments. Here you’ll find an expansive cocktail menu with spirits crafted with home-made syrups, fresh-squeezed juices, and eight types of twice-filtered ice. Expect to find pre-Prohibition cocktails, ambiance, and decor in this intimate establishment that seats around 80 guests. They also offer bar snacks like fried brie and shrimp corndogs.

Springwater

Take a walk through Centennial Park then post up at a bar seat at the Springwater. It’s been the Springwater since 1978 but the establishment itself has been a bar for over 100 years. In fact, it’s the oldest alcohol-serving bar in all of Tennessee – whether that was legally or illegally. And if that hasn’t sold you yet, Al Capone and Jimmy Hoffa used to gamble here! This dive bar and music venue has been a staple for locals, wanderers, and celebrities for years.

The Red Door Saloon

Named one of the top ten bars in Nashville, The Red Door Saloon is a unique drinkery with eclectic decor. Although The Red Door Saloon is not a large establishment, what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in character. You’ll find skeleton decor, a laid-back atmosphere, and more drink specials than you can even imagine. Be sure to take a look through one of their peepholes in the basement for a view of the “skeletons in the closet”.

Rebar

A patio and boozy milkshakes? You can’t beat that combo when you visit Rebar, an industrial-style bar that is always packed and guaranteed to always be a great time. You’ll find friendly bartenders, cheap drinks, live music, and bar games when you’re at this locally-loved dive bar. But, of course, it’s really all about the Bushwackers.

Convenience and Fun at Midtown Nashville

After you’ve had your fill of fried food, cocktails, and live music – the best part? You just need to walk a few minutes before you’re right back in the comfort of your own home. So, whether you want to have a glass of wine before bed, a raucous night out, or a pub crawl with friends, Midtown Nashville is the place to be.
