You don’t have to drive far to reach one of the area’s most historic parks – Stones River National Battlefield. Just over a mile from our apartments in Murfreesboro is Barfield Crescent Park. The beautiful 430-acre community park is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon with your friends and family. On-site, visitors will find multiple picnic areas, seven miles of paved and unpaved hiking trails, playgrounds, a disc golf course, horseshoe pits, camping, and more. If you love being outside – Barfield Crescent Park is the place to be. Make sure to make a pit stop at the Wilderness Station where you’ll find a nature center that educates guests about the local wildlife that frequents the park. Long Hunter State Park
For those that enjoy the great outdoors, Long Hunter State Park is practically heaven on earth. The park boasts over 2,600 acres and offers a long list of recreational activities for its visitors.
