Incredible attractions await you near our Glenview apartments

Just ten minutes from our apartments in Glenview is Funtopia. As the name suggests, there’s no shortage of fun at Funtopia. Combing sports and fun, this awesome adventure park offers entertaining and healthy activities for all walks of life. With Fun Walls, a Giant Slide, an Ultra Realistic Caving System, a Rope Course, and a 20-Foot Free Fall, you and your family can spend hours running around the facility. The Grove

Spend your afternoon exploring 150 sprawling acres of ecologically diverse land at The Grove. One of Glenview’s favorite parks, The Grove is less than 3 miles from our Northbrook apartments. Have fun learning about the area’s history by visiting the Kennicott House, learn about local flora and fauna at the interpretive center, or try your hand at blacksmithing at the blacksmith shop. River Trail Nature Center

Featuring free exhibits, walking trails, and onsite nature educators, the River Trail Nature Center is the perfect place to visit on a sunny Saturday. Visitors can hike, walk, cycle, horseback ride, and even cross-country ski on one of the many miles of available trails through gorgeous landscapes. Or you can learn how to make maple syrup, meet an owl, and let the kids play at the indoor or outdoor play areas—the options are limitless. Gallery Park

A walking and biking path circles a fish-stocked lake at Gallery Park. Boasting over 140-acres, Gallery Park is also known as Glenview’s “Central Park,” with an amphitheater, lookout tower, playfields, Little Bear Garden, and nearly 5 miles of paved trails. Lincoln Park Zoo

With over 3.6 million visitors every year, the Lincoln Park Zoo is one of the area’s hottest attractions. Just under 24 miles from Tapestry Glenview, the Lincoln Park Zoo is chock full of fun activities. Not only can you view wildlife from all across the globe, but you can also get up-close and personal with penguins at the Malott Family Penguin Encounter, ride a Lionel Train, or visit the Edible Gardens. LEGOLAND Discovery Center

Known as the Ultimate Indoor LEGO Playground, your kids won’t want to leave the LEGOLAND Discovery Center. The two-story fun center offers over a dozen attractions and rides, including Kingdom Quest a family-sized chariot, a 4D cinema theater, LEGO Racers Build and Test exhibition, and even a  Great LEGO Virtual Reality Experience. Skokie Lagoons

When you feel like getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, drive less than 9 miles to the Skokie Lagoons. This 894-acre park is a prime destination for hiking, boating, fishing, kayaking, and more. Visitors will have a blast exploring one of the seven lagoons and all of the wildlife that calls them home. The shallow waters are ideal for canoeing, row boating, and kayaking. Keep an eye out for unique birds—over 210 species have been spotted here.
