Jordan Lake State Recreation Area
All things “outdoors” can be found at the Jordan Lake State Recreation Area. No matter the season, you’ll find something fun to do – hiking, swimming, camping, wildlife watching, fishing, paddling, and more. “The beautiful lake is one of the largest summertime homes of the bald eagle, and an observation platform makes for easy spotting of our national bird,” it says on the park’s homepage. Just a six-minute drive from our luxury apartments in Cary, NC is another fantastic green space – Morrisville Community Park. This park is ideal for taking the little ones out to play, reading a book in the sun, having a picnic, or playing a game of ball. There is a playground with a tot-lot, gazebo, outdoor fitness center, concrete cornhole boards, concrete chess/checkerboard, grills, and more. Boasting 520 acres, Lake Crabtree County Park is one of the most expansive parks in the area.
