Cox Arboretum
Residents of Dovetree will absolutely love exploring and connecting with nature at the Cox Arboretum. This stunning 174-acre facility offers 2.5 miles of trails where you can walk amongst specialty gardens and mature forests that captivate the imagination. You won’t want to miss climbing the Tree Tower with expansive views at the top, the Bell Children’s Maze, and Butterfly House where you can enjoy a variety of butterflies and moths. Just over five miles from our apartments in West Carrollton is Orchardly Park. The little ones will absolutely love visiting this fun park that boasts two sprawling jungle gyms, a giant sandbox with fun activities, a small fountain for splashing, swings, and lots of green space to simply relax. Break away from the hustle and bustle of the city and find peace and quiet in Miami Bend Park. The park includes a low dam, perfect for fishing and bird watching. Just over ten minutes from our apartments in Moraine is the 22-acre Activity Center Park. Another wonderful place for children, the park has an all-access playground with wide ramps, large swings, belt swings, infant swings, and benches that sway – for children of all abilities. There is also a zero-depth splash pad with fun features that dump and spray water. You’ll also find grills, pickleball courts, baseball diamonds, and more.
