The Grales/Gralehaus
When you want a top-notch brunch experience, head over to The Grales at their Gralehaus for fantastic coffee and food, less than a mile from our apartments in the Highlands Louisville. With a food menu by executive chef Jonathan Searle, expect to find menu items like whipped burrata toast, griddled country ham and cheese, shroom n’ grits, and “The Best Damn Coffee Cake.” They also boast amazing coffee, spirited beverages, beer, and wine. Located just 3 minutes from our Highlands apartments, this brunch spot offers biscuits and gravy, biscuit sandwiches, waffles, “frittaffles,” bread pudding, steak and eggs, and super delicious sides. If you have guests visiting, want to impress your friends, or you’re just craving a perfectly cooked brunch – you’ll want to head to Highland Morning. The Wiltshire Pantry, just an 8-minute walk from our Highlands apartments, is a bakery and cafe serving up an extensive collection of pastries, desserts, artisan breads, breakfast, and brunch – what more do you really need? Not to mention, their brunch menu is not your average brunch menu. Instead, you’ll find creative creations such as a Kati Roll with scrambled eggs, saag paneer, mango chutney, and mint crema, or a sausage crumpet with a pork sausage patty, apple jam, and sharp white cheddar on a homemade crumpet.
