Ever since Snooze made its debut over a decade ago in Denver, they’ve now expanded to have nearly 40 locations across the country—and one of them happens to be less than 2 miles from our northwest San Antonio apartments. Putting a creative twist on breakfast and brunch, Snooze has all of the classics you love with a deliciously subtle twist. Try their Habanero Pork Belly Benedict, Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes, or Juan’s Breakfast Tacos. They also offer a full bar with yummy handcrafted cocktails that pair perfectly with your brekkie. Alamo Biscuit Company and Panaderia
Just a 10-minute drive from Reserve at Canyon Creek is the Alamo Biscuit Co. and Panaderia. Serving ‘modern-style biscuit cuisine,’ this local favorite spot is all about the dining experience. Not only is the food fantastic and cooked with love, but the service is outstanding as well. Biscuits with various toppings are the name of the game, however, Alamo Biscuit Co. is also serving up breakfast tacos, benedicts, sandwiches, and more. Pappasito’s Cantina
Tex-Mex food, seafood, and handcrafted margaritas are what you can expect to find when you dine at Pappasito’s Cantina. Located only two miles from our apartments on Vance Jackson, Pappasito’s only uses the freshest ingredients and boasts that they “get seafood from dock to table faster than anyone.” Not to mention, they’re making their tortillas in-house. Start with an order of ceviche then share an order of nachos with the table. Entrée selections include fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, grilled seafood, ribs, and more. Flying Saucer Draught Emporium
Just over a mile from our northwest San Antonio apartments is Flying Saucer Draught Emporium—a favorite lunch spot with a fantastic patio. Offering over 100 beer options on tap and in the bottle, Flying Saucer is the perfect place for the beer aficionado. In addition to an extensive beer selection, they are cooking up popular pub fare that everyone loves. From wings and nachos to pizza and burgers, the lunch menu has all the classics you want to enjoy with your brew. Embers Wood Fire Grill & Bar
Wood-fired pizza might just be one of the most delicious food items on the planet and they’re doing it right at Embers Wood Fire Grill and Bar. And even though pizza is their specialty, the menu offerings certainly don’t stop there—they also have steaks, seafood, chicken, burgers, ribs, pasta, and more. It’s basically impossible not to find a dinner entrée that you will love. Pam’s Patio Kitchen and Wine Bar
A little bit of everything is being served at Pam’s Patio Kitchen and Wine Bar, less than a 10-minute drive from Reserve at Canyon Creek. As the name suggests, Pam’s is the ideal place to eat dinner al fresco while dining on entrees from across the globe. Appetizers on the menu include Hop Sing’s Lettuce Wraps, Red Bell Pepper Hummus, and Shrimp Cocktail. While entrees can range anywhere from Salmon Pomodoro and Tenderloin Fillets to Thai Panang Beef Curry and Gordo’s Shrimp Bacon Tacos, they also have numerous pizza selections as well. Sangria on the Burg
If you could design your perfect night out, what would it be? If it involves craft sangria, margaritas, or beer paired with sliders, tacos, and salads, then Sangria on the Burg is your spot. Their famous sangria options include red, white, grapefruit, and ginger while their margarita options are just as impressive with coconut, jalapeno-cucumber, and mango flavors. The Urban Yard SA
