Summer is finally almost here, which means tons of fun summer events happening near our Miamisburg apartments. Of course, on-property, you’ll love hanging out at our resort-style pool and fishing lake, and in between camping trips, days on the water, and BBQs with your friends and family, you’ll definitely want to get these awesome occasions on your calendar. Here are some can’t-miss summer events going on near Hunters Chase.
Spring Fest in the Burg
When: May 19-21, 2023, from 9:45 am to 9:00 pm
Where: Riverfront Park Miamisburg, 3 North Miami Avenue, Miamisburg, OH 45342
Details: Spring Fest in the Burg is a community arts festival that raises money for local charities. The festival takes place just ten minutes from our apartments in Miamisburg! On Friday night, the festival kicks off with live music, carnival food, and drinks. On Saturday, the festival features a parade, over 100 local makers, free family activities, a full food court, amazing chalk artists, and live music and entertainment all day long. Sunday features everything Saturday has to offer, from noon until 6 pm. Spring Fest in the Burg is a great way to support your community and have some fun. Admission is free, so come on down and enjoy all that the festival has to offer!

Troy Strawberry Festival
When: June 3rd and June 4th, 2023
Where: Troy Strawberry Festival, 405 SW Public Square Suite 330, Troy, OH 45373
Details: Voted ‘Best Festival in Ohio’ for multiple years, the Troy Strawberry Festival is an event that you can’t miss this summer. Welcoming over 175,000 visitors each year, you’ll find delicious food from local vendors, live music, entertainment, a “royalty crowning,” and lots more.

Americana Festival
When: July 3rd and July 4th, 2023
Where: 27 N Main St, Washington Township, OH 45459
Details: A wide variety of activities for all ages! Each year, the Americana Festival continues to grow. Featuring 200 craft and food booths, artists, musical entertainment, and a children’s game and activity area, the Street Fair also showcases staged and strolling performers. This year’s festival will also include an amazing fireworks display at Centerville High School Stadium. A variety of food vendors will be on hand at the stadium entrance. The celebration also features The Up and Running/RecPlex-Americana 5k Run/Walk, hosted by the Centerville Noon Optimist Club. Following the 5K Run, grab a spot on Franklin Street and enjoy the Americana Parade beginning at 10:00 am.

Germanfest Picnic
When: August 11th through August 13th, 2023
Where: 1400 E. Fifth Street, Dayton, OH 45402
Details: Founded in 1983, Dayton’s Germanfest Picnic is a 3-day celebration of the Miami Valley’s rich German heritage. Enjoy all your favorite German meals – schnitzel dinners, brats, metts, German potato salad, sauerkraut, as well as German desserts, including bienenstich and strudel. There is also a selection of authentic German brews and domestic beers and spirits. Enjoy the live entertainment under the big tent. Expect lots of live music and dancing as well.
