Pins Mechanical Company
It’s impossible to get bored at Pins Mechanical Company. Grab your friends and pick your poison – they’ve got foosball, pinball, duckpin, ping pong, bocce, and a host of arcade games that are sure to take you back to your childhood! You’ll feel young again, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some of the most creative adult beverages that Columbus has to offer.
If you like craft cocktails, then Pins Mechanical is sure to make your night. They constantly have craft cocktails on rotation for every taste and persuasion. Enjoy a “Pinball Wizard”, made of blueberry vodka, St. Germain, ginger ale, and blueberries. Or grab a Strawberry Strike, made of tequila, lemon, strawberry, and vanilla syrup.You’ll just have to see for yourself – whether you’re jonesing a slightly sweet vodka drink or whiskey with a kick, they’ve definitely got the cocktail for you.
It’s also not often you’ll find a bar that serves up a boozy punch. Royal Palms Punch includes Vodka, rum, gin, orange juice, cranberry juice, grenadine, and ginger ale. Their punch drinks serve up to 6 people, so bring all your cocktail-loving cronies!
Beer lovers will appreciate the craft beers on tap from local and national breweries, including fresh brews from Buckeye Lake Brewery, Columbus Brewing Company, Fat Head’s, Jackie O’s, Platform, Rockmill Brewery, and many more! Wine lovers are not forgotten here at Pins Mechanical Company, because they serve up reds and whites from some of the finest labels on the market.
You might not think “food” when you think of Pins Mechanical Company, but that’s soon about to change! Their monthly calendar includes delicious food truck options – you might luck out with some Mikey’s Late Night Slice, Baller BBQ, or Caribbean Cuisine. Whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed.
Are you the competitive type? A few times a year, they take sign-ups for duckpin leagues. If you’re all about making friends and improving your skills, then you should definitely sign up for some weekly teambuilding and fun.
In a nutshell, Pins Mechanical Company is a great place to take a date or a group of friends, and it’s very close to our apartments near OSU. There are drinks for every taste, games for every interest, and a spacious outdoor seating area where you can warm up by the fire pit.
16-Bit Bar + Arcade
Your inner arcade nerd is about to die and go to heaven. Here at 16-bit Bar + Arcade, they have more than 40 vintage arcade classics, including asteroids, centipede, Pac Man, Indiana Jones (the pinball adventure), Space Invaders, and so much more!
Bring the kids! Shorty Day is every Sunday from noon to 5 PM. Every Monday they have Classic Game Tournaments, and on Thursdays, come on out for their Rockin’ Old-School Hip Hop All Night!
But arcade games aren’t their only specialty. They’ve got all the drinks. Enjoy some of their creative craft cocktails with silly names like “Cindy Lou Who”, which is made of espresso vodka, peppermint schnapps, Frangelico, yoo-hoo, and candy cane, or the Carrie Fisher, with coconut rum, blueberry vodka, blue curacao, pineapple and lime juice and rock candy.
They’ve got “old school cocktails” that get pretty creative, including the “Kevin Bacon”, with Jim Beam Maple Bourbon, ginger ale, and served with real bacon jerky, the “Bill Nye”, which comes with Bulleit Rye, sweet Vermouth, Angostura bitters, and cherry. You won’t find cocktails like these anywhere else!
They’ve also got everything the beer lover needs, including beers on draft and in cans from local gems.
If you’re not into the booze but still want the experience, enjoy some of their creative mocktails that are just as delicious as the real thing.
The Dublin Village Tavern
If there’s one word for The Dublin Village Tavern, it’s charm. In true classic Irish fashion, their bar is homey and full of amazing Irish beers, such as Guinness, Harp, and Smithwick’s. (And of course, take your pick from their extensive list of Irish whiskey!)
You’ll love the cozy atmosphere, with the brick interior, hammered copper ceilings, oak beams, and old brick. You’ll feel like you walked out of Dublin, Ohio, and into Dublin, Ireland! (That’s kind of the point.)
On warm summer days, you can enjoy your brews outside on their patio with bright yellow umbrellas. Catch some rays and sip some Irish brews. It’s as life was meant to be.
If you’re expecting sub-par pub food, be prepared to be blown away by the quality of their cuisine. Their Irish-inspired fare is not only delicious, but it’s affordable to boot! We highly suggest their authentic shepherd’s pie, their delicious baked pretzel bites with melted cheese, and their fantastic corned beef.
The Dublin Village Tavern is a favorite among our neighbors at our Dublin Ohio apartments. You won’t find a better ambience anywhere, and it offers a family-friendly atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to grab some beers and a bite to eat with the family.
The Pint Room
If you’re into beer, you’ll be into The Pint Room. In fact, you’ll never want to leave. With more than 100 craft beers on tap, from breweries close to home and far away. There’s something here for every beer drinker.

They serve up “chef-driven” bar food, including juicy burgers served with fresh veggies and sprouts, BBQ grilled cheese, gourmet mac n cheese (seriously, get the pulled pork mac n cheese, you will not regret it!) and bar bites, including wings, pretzels, and crab cakes, because what more could you possibly want?
