And for residents of our East Louisville apartments, the fun is nearly endless. Not only can you spend your summer days by the pool in a personal cabana or grilling in our picnic area, but when you feel like going out, there are so many fun events going on nearby. Here are some awesome summer events happening near The Paddock at Eastpoint that you definitely won’t want to miss.
4th Annual Summer Family Fun Fest at CityPlace
When: Saturday, July 23rd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Where: CityPlace, 112 S 1st Ave, La Grange, KY 40031
Details: Happening just 20 minutes from our East End Louisville apartments is an exciting family event that is fun for all ages. The 4th Annual Summer Family Fun Fest at CityPlace isn’t just entertaining for the entire clan, but it helps raise funds for the Humane Society of Oldham County. The little ones will love participating in the balloon toss and Duck Derby, while guests of all ages will enjoy the packed entertainment schedule, dog training demonstration, and fitness class exhibition. There will also be a selection of food carts for you to purchase food.

The East End Farmers Market
When: Tuesdays from 5 pm to 7 pm, Saturdays from 2 pm to 5 pm, and Pop-Up Sundays from 2 pm to 5 pm

Details: The East End Farmers Market is a 100% producer-only market with a wide range of rotating incredible vendors. Depending on the day, expect to find baked goods, flowers, soaps, crafts, candles, farm-fresh produce and dairy, and so much more. You’ll also want to keep an eye out on the schedule for special events like Kids Day, the Hot Pepper Festival, Blackberry & Peach Festival, Labor Day Sale, and more.

The Kentucky State Fair
When: August 18th through August 28th – Hours Vary
Where: Kentucky State Fair, 937 Phillips Ln, Louisville, KY 40209
Details: The summer season is never complete without a fair – and the Kentucky State Fair is happening just 20 miles from our East Louisville Apartments. The fair features live music from every genre as well as The Texas Roadhouse Concert Series, livestock shows, carnival rides at Thrill Ville, and more. No matter what age you are, the state fair has fun and entertainment for every member of your family.

Middletown’s Family Fun Festival and Craft Show
When: September 9th through September 12th
Where: Wetherby Park, 11803 Old Shelbyville Rd, Middletown, KY 40243
Details: Experience two full days of fun, food, and festivities at Middletown’s Family Fun Festival and Craft Show. Held in Wetherby Park, just 10 minutes from our East End Louisville apartments, you’ll find over 150 craft and food vendors, competitions, a dog show, a parade, bands, and an end-of-the-night light show.
