But when you feel like going out and having some fun, there are lots of summer events happening soon. Here are some events that you’ll definitely want to check out that are happening near Quinn at Plymouth.
Kickoff to Summer at the Fair
When: May 26th through May 30th – varying hours
Where: Minnesota State Fairgrounds, 1265 Snelling Ave N, St Paul, MN 55108
Details: Happening less than half an hour from our apartments in Plymouth is the Kickoff to Summer at the Fair. Round up your friends and family and spend Memorial Day weekend eating fair food, dancing to live music, and enjoying rides, games, and other attractions. There are dozens of food vendors, three stages of entertainment, and activities for all ages.

Sociable Summer Market
When: Sunday, June 5th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413
Details: Craft lovers are going to want to make an appearance at the Sociable Summer Market this year. Hosted at Sociable Cider Werks, this massive craft market features over 50 local makers and artisans in an outdoor, dog-friendly marketplace. Perfect for finding gifts and decor!

13th Annual St. Paul Summer Beer Fest
When: Saturday, June 11th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Minnesota State Fairgrounds, 1265 Snelling Ave N, St Paul, MN 55108
Details: If you’re a fan of craft beer, then the 13th Annual St. Paul Summer Beer Fest was designed for you. This outdoor craft beer festival will boast sampling from over 50 breweries. Your ticket includes a commemorative glass, live music, a silent auction, and lots of tasty food.

Twin Cities Summer Jam
When: July 21st through July 23rd
Where: Canterbury Park, 1100 Canterbury Rd, Shakopee, MN 55379
Details: Jam to 16 artists in 3 days on two stages at the Twin Cities Summer Jam. Taking place at Canterbury Park, this event of a lifetime gives you the full music festival experience without having to leave the city. Artists in the lineup include Blake Shelton, Nelly, Kane Brown, Trace Adkins, and more.

Big Time Rush
When: Thursday, July 28th at 8:00 pm
Where: The Armory, 500 South 6th St, Minneapolis, MN 55415
Details: Ever since they formed in 2009, boy band, Big Time Rush, has been making people all over the globe swoon. And after taking a hiatus for nearly 7 years, they’re back and they’re touring near Cary Park to perform their new hit single “Call It Like I See It.”
