Exciting Fourth of July festival taking place in Dublin, OH

One of the best things about summer is celebrating the Fourth of July – and when you live at our Dublin apartments, there are plenty of ways to get in the spirit. Rent out space in our clubhouse lounge, throw a BBQ with one of our gas grills in the patio and gazebo area, or simply relax by the pool before watching fireworks. There are so many fun options right on-site. However, if you feel like getting out and joining the community, the Independence Day Celebration is where you want to be on the 4th. Here’s a little bit about it – and the events are happening just a short drive from Dublin Park.

8:00 AM – The event kicks off first thing in the morning with the annual Sherm Sheldon Fishing Derby before the Inflation Celebration in Metro Center which begins at 9 AM, kicking off the main 4th of July parade.

11:00 AM – Bring the whole family down to watch the Independence Day Parade with giant inflatables, Irish dancers, bagpipers, floats, marching bands, and lots more. The parade is sponsored by COSI.

4:00 PM to 9:00 PM – After the parade has wrapped up, make your way over to the Dublin Coffman High School Stadium for live music headlined by Gary LeVox, the lead singer of Rascal Flatts. Other entertainers include Dusty Black, Temecula Road, and 338th Army Band.

9:50 PM – For the main event, it’s time for the fireworks presented by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Let out your “oohs” and “aahs” as you watch a beautiful display of incredible, colorful fireworks.

Tickets: You can purchase reserved tables that seat up to 8 people or opt for general admission tickets. You can also purchase Kid Zone tickets, a play area with inflatables, for children aged 2 to 12. Learn more about all tickets and packages on the event’s official website.
