Exciting festivals you can’t miss this Summer near our DTC apartments

There are tons of perks to living at our DTC apartments. From our rooftop lounge, pool, and yoga center to our co-working lounge, dog park, and recreation room—there is always something fun to do. Speaking of fun, when you feel like getting out on the town, you definitely won’t want to miss these super fun festivals happening near Outlook DTC.

 

Cherry Creek Arts Festival

When: July 1st through July 3rd with varying hours

Where: Cherry Creek North, the Festival is located on 2nd and 3rd Avenues from Clayton to Steele and between 2nd and 3rd Avenues from Detroit to Steele

Details: A world-class and award-winning celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival is happening just less than 10 miles from our DTC apartments. You’ll meet and engage with over 250 artists, watch live music, eat delicious culinary delights, and have fun participating in family-friendly activities.

Independence Eve at Civic Center Park

When: Sunday, July 3rd at 4:00 pm

Where: Civic Center Park, 101 14th Ave, Denver, CO 80204

Details: Celebrate an early 4th at Civic Center Park for an evening of food trucks, beautiful music, and a firework display. Local musicians will take the stage at 5 pm before the Colorado Symphony performs at 8:15 pm. Then, get ready for a magical firework display from the roof of the City and County Building.

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival

When: Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 24th with varying hours

Where: Sloan’s Lake Park, 1700 N Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80212

Details: Happening less than a 20-minute drive from our Denver Tech Center apartments is the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival. “This two-day festival centers around the dragon boat competition, with more than 50 teams of boaters clambering aboard intricate and colorful dragon boats and racing their way across Sloan Lake,” the event site says. There will also be performing arts, an Asian marketplace, Taste of Asia Food Court, and more.

The Big Eat 2022

When: Thursday, July 28th from 6-9 pm

Where: Denver Performing Arts Complex, 1400 Curtis Street, Denver, CO 80204

Details: The Big Eat is back! “This signature summertime event features bites from more than 60 locally-owned restaurants, organized by neighborhood in the open-air Galleria at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, plus cocktails, wine, cider, beer, kombucha, and tea—all included in one ticket price. Guests experience the best of Denver in one place, all while supporting the local restaurant community,” the event site says. This event is 21+.

Blues & BBQ

When: Saturday, July 16th at 10:30 am

Where: Citizens Park 5560 W. 24th Ave., Edgewater CO 80214

Details: This festival’s name says it all—a day of Blues music and delicious BBQ is what you can expect during this day of fun at Blues & BBQ. Eat BBQ from incredible vendors and rock out to talented Blues and rock and roll artists from the early afternoon until night. Performers include Dolls in The Attic a tribute to Aerosmith, My Blue Sky a tribute to The Allman Brother’s Band, and Glory Days a tribute to Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.
