Eddie Merlot’s

Aged steak, from-scratch menu, and exceptional service—these are things you can always expect from Eddie Merlot’s. This phenomenal American steakhouse is located just ten minutes away from our West Chester apartments and guests can expect a dining experience of a lifetime. Eddie Merlot’s ages their steaks for a minimum of 21 days and make every single menu item from scratch—including dressings, sauces, sides, and desserts.

Start with a glass of wine or a cocktail from their extensive beverage list then let the indulging begin. Eddie Merlot’s has a lovely oyster offering for appetizers as well as salads and charcuterie boards. As for dinner? You can’t go wrong with a cut of USDA Prime Beef—choose from the filet mignon, New York strip, or ribeye. If you’re not a big red meat eater, Eddie Merlot’s also offers delicious chicken, pork, and seafood options as well. Be sure to end your visit with a delicious Banana’s Foster prepared tableside or their world-famous carrot cake.

Carlo & Johnny

Housed in a mansion that was once a stagecoach stopover and casino of questionable legality, Carlo & Johnny, named after the two detectives that busted the illegal casino, is also a fantastic choice when you’re looking to splurge on a Prime steak and fresh seafood. The award-winning steakhouse boasts 14 types of USDA Prime steaks, a raw bar, live entertainment, and a vibrant bar scene.

As for the menu at Carlo & Johnny—it’s simple yet sophisticated. Enjoy a lobster bisque or wagyu meatball before your order of oysters and King crab show up from the raw bar. Then, it’s time to choose between seafood or steak for the main course. Their deluxe steak choices include the classic New York strip along with a porterhouse, ribeye, and filet mignon. Less than 15 minutes away from our apartments in West Chester is the world-famous Montgomery Inn The Original. If you’re a fan of ribs and barbecue—this is the only restaurant you’ll need to know. The family-owned restaurant has been cooking up ribs and barbecue sauce since 1951 with no signs of stopping. Montgomery Inn is an ideal choice for a night out with that special person in your life to take in some local sports history and eat some fantastic food.

Expect to find classic American fare and BBQ at Montgomery Inn. Start off with a salad, an order of nachos, or wings. Then, it’s time to get your face a little dirty with some world-famous pork loin-back ribs. Other favorites on their menu include Coho salmon, grilled pork chops, smoked brisket, and more. Parkers Blue Ash Tavern
