Andalous Mediterranean Grill

Serving fresh, authentic Mediterranean food, Andalous Grill has become a neighborhood favorite. Opened by twin chefs, Sam and Wissam pride themselves on creating mouthwatering flavors from their mother’s secret recipes as well as their own flair. On the menu, you’ll find classic dishes from the Mediterranean area. Begin your meal with an order of dolmas or spanikopita before ordering a shawarma platter or kebab sandwich. Looking for more of an entree? Their menu also boasts broiled lamb shank, curry chicken, red snapper fillet, and more.
For those that are vegan, vegetarian, or just looking to get a bit more greens into their diet, Andalous’s menu features nearly a dozen fresh salads, hot vegetable plates like roasted cauliflower and pomegranate eggplant, and a variety of dips with pita.

Bread Zeppelin Salads Elevated

If you ever want to make something exponentially tastier—just add bread. Bread Zeppelin is doing just that with salads. They take a locally baked artisan baguette, toast it until it’s golden brown, pull out the insides, then stuff it with your favorite customized chopped salad.
Their menu offers signature chopped salads like the Pacific Beach with shrimp, avocado, and artichoke hearts and the Washington State with herb grilled chicken, apples, beets, and bleu cheese. You can, of course, build your own —choosing from a selection of 40 ingredients and 20 dressings. Once the salad is prepared, you can choose to eat it in a bowl or in a Zeppelin (the freshly baked baguette).

Just a 3-minute walk from our apartments in Las Colinas is Pie Five Pizza. It never takes long before your tastebuds tell you it’s time for a piece of pizza and thankfully, you don’t have to walk very far to find it. Pie Five Pizza is not only serving up incredibly yummy pizzas like the Chicken Carbonara, Maui Wowwi, and the Farmer’s Market (or build your own!), but they also have calzones, salads, breadsticks, and desserts.

Little Katana Las Colinas

If sushi, noodles, or teriyaki are what you’re looking for, it doesn’t get any more convenient than Little Katana. Literally only one minute away from our Las Colinas apartments, Little Katana has a massive menu with an impressive array of Japanese and other Asian selections. Serving both lunch and dinner, the main menu features appetizers like chicken karaage and dumplings, and a vast choice of entrees ranging from ramen and udon to bulgogi and chicken katsu.

There are hot and cold sandwich options for lunch like the Turkey Cranberry Melt, Jambon-Buerre, and a French Dip.
