Fourth of July festivities for everyone in Atlanta near 1660 Peachtree Midtown apartments

There are lots of fun ways to celebrate the Fourth of July when you’re a resident of our Midtown Atlanta apartments. Whether you want to have a BBQ with friends at our outdoor gas grilling station or chill by the luxurious, resort-style pool before watching fireworks, there are great options to choose from. And if you want to get out and celebrate Independence Day at a party, festival, or event, there are plenty happening nearby. Here are some fun 4th of July festivities happening near 1660 Peachtree.

 

Look Up Atlanta

When: Sunday, July 3rd from 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Where: Centennial Olympic Park, 265 Park Ave W NW, Atlanta, GA 30313

Details: Look Up Atlanta is the festival to attend this year.  “Hosted by GWCCA this event celebrates all the things that make Atlanta a great city – from our sports teams and attractions to the culturally diverse and celebrated food and arts scenes,” it says on the event website. The Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra will lead into Southeast’s largest fireworks show.

Celebrate Fourth of July with the Braves

When: Monday, July 4th at 7:20 pm
Where: Truist Park, 755 Battery Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30339

Details: Celebrate your independence with America’s favorite game! Head down to Truist Park to watch the Atlanta Braves take on the St. Louis Cardinals. Then, afterward, enjoy a special post-game fireworks show.

Children’s Museum of Atlanta 4th of July Celebration

When: Saturday, July 2nd from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Where: Children’s Museum of Atlanta, 275 Centennial Olympic Park Dr. NW, Atlanta, GA 30313

Details: Round up the little ones and head to the Children’s Museum of Atlanta for their educational and fun 4th of July celebration. Located less than 15 minutes from our Midtown Atlanta apartments, your kids will have a blast learning about fireworks, making slime, hearing storytime, and more.

4th of July Independence Day at Thos. O’Reilly’s Public House

When: Monday, July 4th at 3:00 pm

Where: Thos. O’Reilly’s Public House, 227 Sandy Springs Pl NE Suite 416, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

Details: “Join us for the best Fireworks Experience in the Metro. It’s like our own private show. Dine in the AC comfort of our dining room and then step out to be dazzled. Limited outdoor seating available, first come first serve. Limited Quick Serve All American Menu!” they boast on the Thos. O’Reilly Public House event page.

Marietta’s 4th in the Park Celebration

When: Monday, July 4th at 10:00 am

Where: Multiple Locations

Details: Head down to the City of Marietta’s 4th in the Park celebration for a parade, free live music, carnival games, food, arts and crafts, and, of course, a firework display. The Marietta Let Freedom Ring Parade includes 110 entries, 2,000 participants, and an estimated 30,000 spectators, and there will also be a Journey tribute band before fireworks. Fun for the entire family, the event lasts all day and goes on until the fireworks start at dark.
