Here are some of the coolest events happening near NEON Burnsville.
Drive-In Movie: Sing 2
When: Thursday, September 1st, 2022, at dusk (around 8:20 pm)
Where: North River Hills Park, Burnsville, MN 55337
Details: Take the whole family down to North River Hills Park, just over ten minutes from our apartments in Burnsville, to attend a drive-in movie featuring ‘Sing 2.’ Parking begins at 7:30 pm, and the movie will begin at dusk.

Block Party on the Plaza
When: Wednesday, September 7th, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Where: Nicollet Commons Park, 12550 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville, MN 55337
Details: “We’re kicking off Burnsville Festival and Fire Muster with a block party! Who doesn’t love free fun for all ages!? Bring a chair and enjoy live music from Chico Chavez Orchestra, a 10-piece instrumental ensemble. The fun continues with a kids zone, games, arts and crafts vendors and community booths, food trucks, and more,” the event website says.

Classic Car Show and Entertainment
When: Thursday, September 8th, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Where: Nicollet Commons Park, 12550 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville, MN 55337
Details: Take a trip back in time to look at some incredible classic cars, customs, and street rods. While you’re marveling at timeless vehicles, Old School 191, the ISD191 faculty band, will be playing. Sample some tasty, local craft beers and grab a bite to eat from a food truck,

Burnsville Festival and Fire Muster
When: Friday, September 9th and Saturday, September 10th, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Where: Civic Center Park, 101 14th Ave, Denver, CO 80204
Details: There is so much to do and see at the Burnsville Festival and Fire Muster. Ride carnival rides, watch live music and entertainment, take part in festival games, watch fireworks, and so much more. Fun for the entire family!

Heart of the City Race (15K, 10K, 5K)
When: Saturday, September 10th from 6:30 am to 9:45 am
Where: Civic Center Park, 101 14th Ave, Denver, CO 80204
Details: Grab your running shoes and hit the pavement at the Heart of the City Race. Run a 5K, 10K, or 15K. There is also a fun 1K opportunity for kids.

Yappy Hour
When: Saturday, September 24th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Alimagnet Park, 1200 Alimagnet Park Drive, Burnsville, MN 55337
Details: “No bones about it – you and your pup will be howling with joy at this dog-friendly Yappy Hour. This event will be full of dog-themed vendors, food trucks, giveaways, and furry friends.
