Looking for something fun to do this Halloween weekend? Head over to Kings Island, just around the corner from our apartments in Mason. For Decades, every October, Kings Island turns into a trick or treater’s dream, and 2020 is no different with Kings Island’s Tricks and Treats Fall Fest. Here’s what you can expect to find.

Festive Fall Food

It wouldn’t be Halloween without some tasty treats. Candy is a given, but at Tricks and Treats, when you purchase a Tasting Card, you can also sample Halloween and Fall inspired dishes such as Zombie Poutine or Pumpkin Spice Funnell Cake. Choose from dozens of scary looking but delicious treats as well as some of the fall classics. Kings Island is also serving up seasonal craft brews and ciders, as well as specialty potions that you can order without alcohol or “bewitched” (with alcohol).

Games, Mazes, and More!

Enjoy all the fun of a traditional fall festival safely at Tricks and Treats. Play fall-themed games, participate in a gameshow, get lost in a corn maze, decorate a pumpkin, or go on QR quest. This and much more is all on offer at Tricks and Treats. A favorite this year is the Trick or Treat Bean Challenge where participants blindly select jelly beans from a mixture of yummy and gross flavors. And, of course, many of Kings Island’s signature rides will be open offering thrills and chills of a different kind.

Costume Craziness

Come dressed to impressed with your best Halloween costume and you may take home the prize for best costume in the nightly costume contest. No costume? No worries! You can grab a costume from one of the shops in the park or get a Monster Makeover. You can also explore Halloween-themed entertainment throughout the park designed for kids, tweens, teens, and adults. You’ll find something for everyone at Tricks and Treats.

Trick or Treating

Trick or Treating is a staple of any Halloween event, and the folks at Kings Island have found a way to keep this tradition alive while keeping everyone safe. Throughout the park you’ll find designated Trick or Treating locations were little ones can safely receive treats and maybe a few fun tricks.

Kings Island’s Tricks and Treats Fall Fest is open Saturdays 11 AM – 8 PM and Sundays 11 AM -7 PM through November 1st. For more information and safety guidelines, check out their website.
