The Connor Group Kids & Community partners has long been an advocate of mental health support for America’s youth. And it’s never shied away from putting its money where its mouth is.
More than a decade ago the organization invested in innovative research at McLean Hospital, the nation’s top psychiatric hospital. And while child mental health has become an increasingly import topic in America, K&C has continued to step up its investments in the field. This summer the organization finalized $3.75 million in funding agreements at two other centers of excellence: Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Lindner Center of HOPE.
“We’ve vetted mental health programs across the country,” said Connor Group managing partner Larry Connor. “And we believe the work being done at these two institutions, today and in the future, can be generationally transformational.”
K&C’s investment in Cincinnati Children’s, the top-ranked children’s hospital in the country, will fund innovative school-based mental health initiatives. Its investment in the Lindner Center of HOPE, located in the Cincinnati suburbs, will fund research.
Both agreements will be in place for the next five years.
