Fresh out of college, Nina Galbraith didn’t have a career plan. She had no idea what she wanted to do after graduation. But she was eager and excited to find out.
In July 2022, Nina stepped into a conference room at The Central Support Office. Her journey as a sales associate in our Cincinnati market was just beginning. Surrounded by eight other college graduates, she joined a class of long-term development people like herself. Quickly Nina realized she was exactly where she was meant to be.
“I enjoy coming to work every day and working with people who are motivated and driven and want results and want the same things that I want,” Nina said. “You know, you don’t have to babysit your coworkers. Everybody is here for the same reason and trying to get the job done.”
Before long, Nina saw the opportunity for long-term growth. Her natural sales ability helped her crush her monthly goals, and she immediately bought into our culture. Nina began tracking her progress on the sales career path. Now she’s utilizing this new tool to navigate her way to her first promotion.
“We’re all achievers. We’re goal-oriented,” said partner Jennie Juran. “We want to know how do we get promoted? What’s next?”
Our sales career path was designed with those questions in mind.
“They love it because they know what’s next for them, and they know they can get from being a sales associate to a senior sales executive to hopefully a manager one day. Maybe even a trainer,” Jennie said.
With the help of partner and senior director Tiffany Montoya, partner and regional head Sal Gracia and Jennie, Nina continues to sharpen her sales skills to advance. Her ultimate goal is to become “the next Jennie Juran.” With the training and development she’s received, Nina is confident she’ll achieve both her short and long-term objectives.
“I think that it has changed my life, both personally and professionally. In a year’s time, I’ve changed so much as a person. I know now that there is so much career growth and opportunity for me,” Nina said. “I was fresh out of college when I started here and had no idea what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing. Twelve months later, I found a career I love, and it’s really exciting.”
