Fishing at Charlestown State Park
Pack up your poles and tackle before heading down to Charlestown State Park to fish at Fourteen Mile Creek. Spend your day relaxing on the stream bank and cast away from the shore. Take Trail 3 to reach the best fishing spots. The trail is very scenic with views of Fourteenmile Creek, high rock cliffs above the trail, gorgeous spring wildflowers, and mixed forests. Learn more about the park on the Charlestown State Park website.
Hiking at Harrods Creek Park
Whether you’re looking for a casual, relaxing stroll or a challenging, heart-pumping outing, there is something for everyone when you go hiking at Harrods Creek Park. The well-marked trails at the mark climb an elevation of 83 feet and take approximately two and half hours to complete walking at a leisurely pace. The ‘Blue’ trail is your best bet for wildlife, the ‘Orange’ trail is the easiest with great views, and the ‘Red’ and ‘Green’ trails are the most rugged. Learn more on the Harrods Creek Park website.
