Whether it’s live music, open night, or just a straight-up party, Fitzgerald’s Bar & Live Music Venue is where it’s at. At this local hot-spot, there is always something going on. Open Monday through Saturday, Fitzgerald’s has a full bar and food menu, as well as nightly events. You’ll find concerts, jam sessions, acoustic nights, comedy nights, and karaoke. Thirsty Horse Dance Hall & Saloon
Voted Best Country Dance Hall in San Antonio, the Thirsty Horse Dance Hall & Saloon is just over 4 miles from our apartments on Vance Jackson. The 21+ venue offers inexpensive drinks at one of their many bars situated around the expansive dance floor. The crowd ranges from young to old and doesn’t request a cover charge for live music on most nights. Country Western attire is encouraged but not required. Picks Bar
Established for fans of live music, sports entertainment, and great food, Picks Bar is the place to be. Known as a buzzing hotspot, Picks Bar features nightly local bands, flat screens, happy hour, and cold draft beer.
