Residents of our apartments in St. Louis Park who own or are thinking of owning a pet will be heaven. Not only is our entire property pet-friendly, but that also means you can bring your pup to our pet-friendly courtyards with BBQ grills and patio furniture. With warmer weather around the corner, it really doesn’t get better than that. In addition to all of those fun pet-friendly perks, we are also located next to some awesome pet-friendly spots off-property. Here are some of our favorite places you can bring your pup near Excelsior and Grand.
Lake of the Isles Off-Leash Dog Park
There’s nothing better than watching your dog run off-leash with their tail wagging and tongue hanging out of the side of its mouth. If your dog could talk, they would tell you their favorite place to go is Lake of the Isles Off-Leash Dog Park. The completely fenced-in park is 1.87 acres and has a designated area for smaller dogs. If you’d like to walk or run the 2.63 miles of trails within Lake of the Isles Park, your dog is more than welcome to be by your side; just be sure to keep them on a leash. The Block Food and Drink
Located just 7 minutes from our St. Louis Park apartments is The Block Food and Drink. This vegan-friendly establishment is also pet-friendly – it’s a win-win! Boasting their adorable “dog-friendly pawtio,” they have a three-course menu for dogs, and they are heated during winter months with heated floors as well. Unleashed Hounds and Hops
Just fifteen minutes from our apartments in St. Louis Park is Unleashed Hounds & Hops. Known as Minnesota’s first combination indoor/outdoor dog park, bar, and eatery, they are bringing responsible dog owners together in a safe and friendly environment. Both you and your dog can have fun and socialize in this doggy/human haven. Your dog can run around while you chat with friends and enjoy a pint and a bite. Pub 819
Known as having one of the best dog-friendly patios in town is Pub 819. Also boasting a three-course menu for pups, the pooch-friendly entrees include Turkey Muttloaf, K-9 Chicken, and a NE Pup Burger. Complimentary fresh water is always included, but if you want to enjoy a beverage with your dog, they also have their Tail Chaser Dog Brew, which is beef flavored. Lake Harriet Bandshell Park
Boasting over 470 acres, Lake Harriet Bandshell Park is less than 10 minutes from our St. Louis Park apartments. As long as your dog is on-leash, you can take advantage of the walking paths, and they can be by your side on the fishing pier and beach.
