Pull-Apart Cheeseburger Sliders
Serves: 12 sliders
Time: Prep: 10 minutes Cook: 30 minutes
- Ground beef
- Slider buns
- Onion and garlic
Overview: While the oven is preheating, cook onion in a saucepan until soft before adding garlic. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Stir in mustard and other seasonings. Place bottom halves of slider buns topped with beef mixture and cheese in a baking dish. Top with pickles, tomatoes, and the top slider bun. Brush with butter and bake for 10 minutes. BBQ Grilled Chicken
Time: 30 minutes
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Barbecue sauce
- Lime juice
- Hot sauce
Overview: Whisk barbecue sauce, honey, lime juice, and hot sauce in a bowl. Add the chicken to the bowl and toss. On a high-heat grill, grill the chicken until charred, basting with extra marinade – around 8 minutes per side. Find the full recipe here.

Overview: We all know about cheeseboards and charcuteries boards – they’re delicious. But when you want to take a “summer twist” on a board, why not try a hot dog board for your party at our Lowry apartments? Start by building your board with small bowls and ramekins of your favorite toppings and condiments. Then, arrange buns and dogs around the sides and fill in the gaps with potato chips. So fun! Classic Potato Salad
Time: 25 minutes
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Lemon juice
Overview: Boil and cook potatoes until easily pierced with a knife – drain and let cool. Combine other ingredients in a large bowl and stir until well combined. Fold in eggs, potatoes, and chives. Refrigerate until ready to be served. View the full recipe here.
Refreshing Watermelon Feta Salad
Time: 10 minutes
- Seedless watermelon
- Red wine vinegar
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper

July 4th S’mores Dip
Time: 20 minutes
- Hershey’s chocolate
- Red, white, and blue sanding sugar
- Graham crackers (for serving)
Overview: Preheat your oven. Layer Hershey’s to cover the bottom of a glass baking pan. Dip marshmallows in water and roll in sanding sugar, set aside to dry. Repeat the process to make 6 red marshmallows, 5 blue marshmallows, and 8 white marshmallows. Cut marshmallows in half and layer on chocolate to make a flag.
