Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
Held annually, the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is an IndyCar Series race that can’t be missed. The temporary circuit is set up as a 1.8-mile, 14-turn configuration running through the heart of the city. Circling Pioneer Park, the Duke Energy Center for the Arts, and The Dali Center, the track continues onto the runways of Albert Whitted Airport, overlooking the gorgeous St. Petersburg Harbor.

Valspar Championship
Golf fans of Bayside Arbors won’t want to miss the Valspar Championship held on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. The professional tournament on the PGA Tour is held annually and generates millions of dollars for charities in the Tampa Bay area. The 72-hold event featuring some of the world’s greatest golfers is assisted by over 2,000 volunteers and hosts tens of thousands of golf fans.

Spring King of the Beach Fishing Tournament
Known as one of the oldest and richest Kingfish tournaments in the United States, the Spring King of the Beach Fishing Tournament is held twice a year at Madeira Beach, just a short 30-minute drive from our apartments in Clearwater. In Spring, it’s all about the Smoker Kings where anglers from all of the country weigh in their prize catches for majorly impressive prizes over six divisions.

Van Gogh Alive
Featuring more than 3,000 Van Gogh images on an enormous scale, the Van Gogh Alive exhibition is unlike any other. Held at The Dali Center, you’ll get to experience an immersive art installation boasting some of Vincent Van Gogh’s most impressive pieces. From “Starry Night” to “Sunflowers,” visitors will get to feel what it’s like to put themselves in these famous paintings by viewing the art through high-definition projectors that are synchronized to the music of powerful classical scores.
