If you love being on the water, then you’ll definitely want to check out Paddle Sport Beach on the Cherry Creek Reservoir. Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge 

Just 10 miles and a 20-minute drive from our apartments in Cherry Creek is the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. The 15,000-acre admission-free refuge is one of the largest urban refuges in the country and is home to over 300 species of resident and migratory wildlife. Start your visit at the informative and exhibit-filled visitor center before exploring the expansive land. The refuge offers 10 miles of easy-to-moderate hiking trails made of mostly soft gravel and some with dirt. The network of trails flows along lake edges, wooded areas, and prairie shrubs. Fishing at Smith Lake
