Luckily for the residents at our Wheaton apartments – there’s certainly no shortage of good pie in the neighborhood. Billy Brick’s is serving up wood-fired pizza less than a 5-minute walk from Wheaton 121. Order a classic Neapolitan-style pizza or opt for a generously sized sandwich or salad.
Prefer deep-dish Chicago-style pizza? Not a problem. Just walk the other direction and in less than 10 minutes, you’ll reach Gino’s East of Chicago. Located just off the Metra station, Gino’s East is whipping up saucy, cheesy, deep-dish pizza and flaky stromboli that will make your mouth water. They also have thin crust pizza, sandwiches, salads, and more.
If you’d prefer pizza and pasta on a more elevated level, make a reservation at Gia Mia. According to their website, their focus is “chef-driven, farm-to-fork food concepts such as Neapolitan style wood-fired pizzas, creative small plates, fresh homemade pasta, antipasto, and hand-made mozzarella to name a few.” They also serve beautiful salads and offer an exclusive wine list to pair with your meal.

When you want burgers to be the star of your meal, The Burger Social is doing it right. Using a combination of brisket and chuck, their elevated burgers are absolutely phenomenal. Try a Spicy Nacho Burger with chorizo, queso sauce, pickled jalapenos, and hot Cheeto dust. Or go the Asian route with the Korean BBQ Burger featuring Asian slaw, Sriracha aioli, and shaved prime rib. They also offer sandwiches, salads, a full bar, and extensive beer selection.
For local craft brews and juicy burgers head over to Emmett’s Brewing Co which is also just 0.2 miles from our luxury apartments. Not only are they creating award-winning beer like their Munich Dunkel and Victory Pale Ale, but they are cooking up “simple, good food like Dad used to make,” according to their website. Share a baked pretzel twist before devouring a juicy Angus burger or bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin.
If you prefer something with a true neighborhood feel that does beers and burgers right – 302 Wheaton will be your new favorite hangout. With casual seating, both indoors and out, 302 Wheaton pours an impressive amount of domestic, import, and craft beers on tap and cooks up a simple menu of burgers, hot dogs, fries, and shakes. They have vegetarian and vegan options too. You’ll have to walk a whopping 7 minutes to this family-friend location with relaxed vibes.
Brunch and Fine Dining
Weekends are meant for brunch and at MF + Co., you can gather your friends and enjoy house-infused mimosas while noshing on sweet potato eggs benedict or Eva’s avocado toast. They also boast an impressive and elegant dinner menu featuring turkey meatballs with a goat cheese polenta and grilled Koji flank steak.
Fill your belly and drink to your heart’s content at Il Sogno just five minutes walking distance from our Wheaton, Illinois apartments. Their experienced and creative chefs offer seasonal menus of both modern and traditional Italian food that will most certainly satisfy your taste buds.
