Over the past couple of years, live music has been on hold and it’s been a tough blow to us, music lovers. Now that things are starting to turn around, our favorite acts are hitting the road again and many of them are playing near our apartments near Austin Landing. Here are some awesome venues near Austin Springs and some of the artists, bands, and events that you can see live this year.
Wright State University Nutter Center
Less than half a mile from our apartments near Austin Landing is the Wright State University’s Nutter Center. This multi-purpose arena hosts the school’s basketball team but also serves as a music venue for touring bands, musicians, and other live events. J.D. Legends
J.D. Legends is your go-to destination for parties, bowling, and concerts—and it’s just over 10 minutes from Austin Springs. The JD Legends Complex hosts concerts rain or shine and has seen some of the biggest names in music. Hobart Arena
Open since 1950, the Hobart Arena seats just over 5,200 people and has a rich history of incredible performances such as Elvis Presley, Liberace, and Nat King Cole. Fraze Pavilion
Ohio’s premiere neighborhood outdoor entertainment venue is just 20 minutes from our apartments near Austin Landing. The Fraze Pavilion has been open since 1991 and can seat up to 4,300 people. From national and international acts to $5 and free concerts, this super fun venue always has something going on.
