Memorial Park You’ll only need to walk less than 10 minutes (or drive about 3 minutes) from our Wheaton apartments to find yourself at Memorial Park. This 2.5-acre park has lots of green space for picnics, lounging, and playing, tennis courts, petanque terrain, and an incredible live music venue. “The newly renovated Memorial Park features a state-of-the-art bandshell and Veterans Memorial, dedicated outdoor recreation and event space located in Wheaton’s most charming and historic park,” it says on the park’s website. Just because summer is coming to an end doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! In fact, it’s on a roll! Residents of our Wheaton apartments still have so much to look forward to this fall, especially with lots of entertaining and family-friendly festivals happening nearby. Here are some fantastic events happening just a short drive from Wheaton 121.
