Just because summer is coming to an end doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! In fact, it’s on a roll! Residents of our Wheaton apartments still have so much to look forward to this fall, especially with lots of entertaining and family-friendly festivals happening nearby. Here are some fantastic events happening just a short drive from Wheaton 121.   Cantigny Fall Festival When: Saturday, October 12th, 10 am to 4 pm Where: Cantigny Park, 1 S, 151 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189 Details: Happening less than 10 minutes from our Wheaton apartments is the Cantigny Fall Festival. Celebrate Mother Nature during the season of changing colors at this autumn-centric event that is fun for family members of every age. When looking for a new apartment, safety is always an important thing to keep in mind. You may find the perfect apartment, but that doesn’t do you any good if you feel like your place is going to get broken into every day when you go to work. Or worse, you question your own safety. You should feel safe and comfortable in your own home, and at Wheaton 121 we do everything in our power to make sure when you walk through the door of your Wheaton apartment after a long day at work the only thing you have to worry about is what’s for dinner. Luxurious and Safe All units at our Wheaton apartments are on the second floor or higher, creating a greater barrier to entry for burglars who might be passing by. Also, no one can access the property without a key FOB. This even includes the garage which is equipped with a fast-acting overhead door (rather than a gate) to prevent other vehicles as well as pedestrians from entering. A brief history Wheaton College got its start when Warren L. Wheaton donated a parcel of land to the struggling Illinois Institute. The new school president, Jonathan Blanchard, proposed to rename the school to Wheaton College in 1860 in honor of Mr. Wheaton’s generous donation. Under the new name, Blanchard changed the focus of the school to commit itself to a combination of both intellectual growth as well as Christian faith.
